Built in 1959, the infant and junior schools combined in 1988. The schools shares it site with Ambleside Centre Nursery.
Highwood takes children aged 3-11 years, and currently has 250 pupils
Rivermead takes children aged 4-11and has 396 pupils
The only Roman Catholic primary school in the area, taking children aged 4-11 years. It was built in 1966, the infant school opening in 1974. The two schools amalgamated in 1991.
Southlake takes children from 3-11 years. The school is now on one site - the infant and junior schools used to be separate.
Like Southlake, Willowbank has the infant and junior schools on one site.
Woodley C of E is the oldest school in Woodley, founded in 1855. It moved to it's present site in 1988. It is also the only primary school in Woodley run on Church of England principles. |
