Green care Farm

Charities and Officers of Wokingham Borough Council are working together to create a farm driven by  the proven concept that a rural setting helps people with psychological illness at many levels incorporated into an ecologically sensitive farm.


The green farm concept has been running successfully in many European countries, and in the UK network there are over 75,  we have a great opportunity to use a local farm to open one of the UKs first.

The farm would be used as a organic food production site, as well as addressing other areas of a ecological nature, i.e. recycling, energy production and carbon offsetting as well as education and leisure facilities.
