The arts

Through the Arts we seek to support the linkages between Christians and their communities and help people of all ages engage and benefit from the Arts and find their own talents. Our key project in this area is 'ArtsBeat' and the key areas of the project are outlined below.

'ArtsBeat' works in Partnership with Arts development and youth agencies and those overseeing extended services and community development and to connect them with churches and Christians. ArtsBeat delivers presentations and creative days at individual churches and joint events to help churches understand the value of the arts within the church and the community. 'Artsbeat' is a member of the cultural offer consultative body for Wokingham, has contributed to the development of the bid for the 'cultural offer' of Wokingham and participated in the Wokingham Arts Forum.

Through engagement with 'ArtsBeat' churches have been able to communicate their desire to be involved in policy and action in helping to meet needs and support community cohesion to find out more about ArtsBeat and to obtain contact details please register and login.
