Older People
Older people can feel neglected by their local community. They are particularly vulnerable to povery, illhealth and loneliness. Through our projects in particular the link visiting scheme volunteers are mobilised to visit older people and support them and where possible ensure they get the help they need.
Older people also have a great deal to give with time and experience of life there is an important role they can carry out as volunteers in the community. For further support for older people go to Woodley Lookout or to the link visiting scheme section of the website. alternatively follow the links to your local church.
