A free money management course, CAP money, will run for three evenings at the offices of King’s Church, Wokingham starting in September. The course devised by the charity, Christians Against Poverty will be held on the following Thursdays, September 22nd and 29th and October 13th from 7.45 – 9.30pm.
CAP Money is a revolutionary money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based money management system that really works. Usually, a small group of between 6 and 9 people, come together to learn how to cope with debt. Recent courses have helped young professionals saddled with university debt and now trying to pay it off; recently separated people coping on reduced incomes and having to budget for themselves for the first time; people paying maintenance for a child while working in a low paid job and those with negative equity on their house.
“The course helps you to be more in control of your money by living with cash rather than credit,” explains Tim Randall, the course leader. “We know that money is a sensitive subject, but if people are struggling, this course will give a clear approach to finances.”
To enrol on the course, call Tim Randall on 07528 705242 or phone King’s Church office on 0118 961 9876. Or go to the website www.capmoney.org to view the course booking online.
King’s Church offices are located at King’s House, 6 Shute End, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG40 1BJ
National debt-counselling charity Christians Against Poverty (CAP) operates through a growing network of centres based around the UK, all opened in partnership with a local church.
